Conservation Commission approves Weathervane amendment
Pembroke Conservation Commission approved Weathervane's switch to individual septic systems.
Conservation · Meeting of March 5, 2026
Pembroke Conservation Commission approved Weathervane's switch to individual septic systems. The commission voted unanimously to amend the April 2024 Order of Conditions, replacing a planned central wastewater treatment plant with individual septic systems on individual lots at Pembroke Country Club. Crocker Design Group's Taylor Corsano put the net added buffer impact at roughly 40,000 square feet.
A related Notice of Intent for four pitch and putt holes and a footbridge at 58 West Elm Street was continued to March 12 pending a DEP number. John Zimmer of South River Environmental said he was "not a big fan of cutting down mature buffer zone" for wetland replication. The commission also issued a negative-3 determination with a 10-inch silt sock condition for a metal building at 49 Oldham Street, then went into executive session on the Spath litigation.
