Zoning Board · Meeting of October 19, 2026

Pembroke's Zoning Board of Appeals granted a variance for the Veterans Memorial Park amphitheater. Christopher Perry, chair of the Veterans Memorial Park Revitalization Working Group, sought about 30 inches of relief so the 25-by-30-foot structure could sit 12.5 feet from a corner lot line instead of 15. Select Board Chair John Brown spoke in favor, and no one opposed.

The board also approved a modification for 345 Oak Street, cutting paved side setback from 21 to 15 feet and front from 27.5 to 19.5 feet. It extended that project's completion deadline to Oct. 1, 2028. Members also reviewed a letter on a Duxbury 40B project that would use Valley Street for access, due to MassHousing Oct. 21.
