PEMBROKE — The Pembroke Select Board declined to discipline member Daniel Trabucco over combative emails with a School Committee member, instead tasking Town Manager William Chenard with drafting Code of Conduct updates for the incoming board. Resident Judy Ferrante said "a formal censure would have been the appropriate response," while Trabucco defended his tone, saying he found the conduct "so despicable of an act that it deserved a harsh response, and I gave it." Outgoing member Rich Flint separately criticized the chair for blocking his proposal for a letter to the MIAA on girls' sports, asking "if not here, then where, if not now, when?" The board unanimously approved four routine items: appointing David Boyle to the Recreation Commission, Laura Campbell to the Conservation Commission, a one-day liquor license for a Widowmaker Brewing Co. event, and the Recreation Commission's six-date Summer Concert Series.
