PEMBROKE -- With summer sports in full swing, two of Pembroke's largest youth leagues are active this week, one wrapping up registration and the other already on the outdoor courts.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Pembroke Youth Soccer is reminding families that late registration for the Fall 2026–Spring 2027 season closes July 1. One registration covers a player for both the fall and spring seasons. After July 1, a $25 late fee may apply, players will be placed on a waitlist, an additional late fee may apply, and team placement cannot be guaranteed. Families registering three or more children should contact PYS Registrar Danielle O'Neill for information on a family discount. Financial assistance is available on a confidential basis; contact PYS President Joshua Henderson at pysoccer.president@gmail.com. The league fields teams from U5 Lil' Kickers through U14 boys and girls divisions.

Pembroke Titans Youth Basketball has launched its Summer In-Town league, with games on the outdoor courts across divisions ranging from grades 1/2 through high school boys. Scheduled matchups on the scoreboard include Boys 3/4 games pairing teams coached by Lu vs. McDonough, Weldon vs. Najarian, and Miller vs. Brennan. Pembroke High School is separately offering boys and girls summer basketball camps; those programs are run by the high school and are not affiliated with Pembroke Youth Basketball. Registration links for both camps are available on the PYB website.
