PEMBROKE — April 9, 2025 — Pembroke Select Board approved a one-day liquor license, a restaurant license transfer, and school bus camera enforcement ahead of the May 7 Town Meeting. The board granted Sharon Bohan of New England Village Incorporated a beer-and-wine license for a May 6 Chamber of Commerce event at 664 School Street, and approved the transfer of food and beverage license CB-51 to A-Jing Yu, doing business as China Walk, at 99 Washington Street. Members set aside a proposed veterans' property tax exemption under Chapter 59 — estimated to cost the town roughly $50,000 annually — pending a presentation by the chief assessor, while voting favorable action on community preservation appropriations exceeding $180,000 for school playground improvements and open space.
